GOD BLESS THE USA!

I just love this time of year!! Independence Day is definitely one of my favorite holidays! I have so much love and admiration for all the many people involved in making this Country free! I am grateful to God for establishing a free nation and leading such noble men to make it such, so we can live the way we live and believe what we believe. I love reading our history and seeing the hand in God work his mighty miracles creating freedom! There is no greater feeling than watching our flag raise, with our hands over our heart, and hearing our national anthem! Well, maybe hearing patriotic music while watching fireworks boom in the sky-that gives me goose bumps every time!
I feel truly blessed to be part of this wonderful nation and to have this Great Gospel in my life.
Two of the greatest things, religion and the freedom to have that religion! I hope and pray that God will continue to inspire honest and noble people willing to fight for what our forefathers created and to keep this country a Great Nation under God!

This fourth of July (well, the 3rd) we celebrated our freedom by going to the famous 4th of July Breakfast at the Jorgensons! YUM YUM! My husband was a good sport for waking up early to make the flag raising ceremony! After breakfast we walk in the parade and ended with popsicles at the church! The girls had so much fun! Russ worked on my mothers bathroom most the weekend while Whit and I hung out. Fireworks we did on Monday night! Gotta love a three day holiday celebration!!

SUMMER FUN!

SWIMMING~
We went swimming at Grandma greats pool and Whit just went crazy. She loved to stand on the stair and jump face first into the water. If i didn't let her jump in face first she's throw a fit and wiggle her body to get loose so she could jump. If someone was sanding by the stair-paying attention or not, she was jumping to you! That little fish has no fear! She was loving the water!

LAGOON~
We had fun going to Stake Lagoon day! It was pretty sweet that Ash and I got in free since we are prego and cant ride, and kids two and under are free. So it was a free day of fun-besides parking, the cotton candy that's a must have, and the ice cream to cool us down!!

MMmmmmm.....Ice cream!

I think the funnest part was playing in the water fountain!!
What a BLAST they had!
Man, after playing they were tired and ready to take a nap!!

Wow have I been slacking!

WHITNEY is so much fun! What a big girl she is! She can sing the whole Elmo song, in tune- and loves to sing the alphabet. (that's mostly mumbles with a few letters here and there) A, B, C, D is clear as day though!
She is our little parrot, coping everything. We definitely watch what we say! Her favorite things lately are coloring, swinging, jumping on the tramp, going down the slide, and swimming with her face in the water! Oh, and I cant forget the cookies, fruit snacks, and Popsicles! She LOVES them!
She loves to wear hats! At Granny's house they have birthday hats they wear, and the minute she sees it, she puts it on for most the time we're there. Mama's shoes have become a favorite thing to wear too!
Another thing this girl loves is painting her toes. One day I sat down on the floor to paint my toes and she comes over, sits down, sticks her feet our for me, and asks so sweetly....pwease, pwease, some while wiggling her toes! She's definitley our little girly princess!!

Back in May I made my Mom a 4th of July quilt! It was a lot of work, but I really had fun doing it! Whit helped placing some squares down when I wasn't looking, so thats why there are two of the same together ha ha!

Guesses??

I am finally past the first trimester and feeling great. Luckily this pregnancy I haven't been sick like I was with Whitney, but the nausea was bad enough to be annoying. I'm finally getting some energy and food is starting to sound good again!! I'm lovin' it.
Well it wont be long now till we find out the sex so I am taking guesses!!
According to the Chinese Conception Calender posted on my friends blog, It will be a Boy....

WE SHALL SEE.......

Oh What a Night!

Sadly last night I woke up to Whit screaming and when I walked in she had thrown up all over her bed and herself. I put her in the tub and just when I shut off the water, she barfed again. I didn't get the bucket there in time. So we went into the other bathroom and started a new bath. She was shivering so bad. She got out and we got things settled for bed-I was sleeping on the memory foam with her on the floor in her bedroom. We had to clean up the bed two other times. My sleep was definitely deprived and I had a hard time dealing with the throw up. Thankfully Russ helped out a little, but he needed to get some sleep so he could work so i mostly dealt with it.

And to heighten the sympathy: to anyone that reads this blog, I am very happy to announce that I am pregnant in my first trimester, so you can only imagine how crappy it was cleaning up throw up and trying oh so hard not to throw up yourself. Ok, I will end there before I really gross you out more than I already have. But I must say that it is the saddest thing watching your little one be sick-I hate it. She was a trooper though and seemed to bounce back fast. Me on the other hand, not so much. I'm couch bound for now.

Home Sweet Home!

What I love about Home....
My own bed
Whitney's room is far enough away I don't hear her at night
My peeps-I will finally have a social life
All my kitchen supplies-meaning better food!
All my cloths
Child proof looks and gates-poor Whitney
Having two cars
Rumbi's-Mmmm, that was missed.
and believe it or not, My stairs. (I never knew hiking up and down them all day long kept me in better shape.)
And of course I must mention, Whitney was very happy to see all her toys again. It was like Christmas Day! She didn't want to go to bed, and when she woke up in the morning she reached out for them and couldn't wait for dad to get her out so she could play.
