Our Little Critter!!

IDENTICAL! - I use to read those books all the time when I was a kid. Never thought my daughter would look like one!!

SaNtA cLaUsE!

Decorating the house was so much fun. Whitney and I surprised dad when he came home by putting up the tree, all the Christmas decorations, having Christmas music play with just the tree light on, and having a Yummy dinner ready. Whit loves the Christmas lights, thank goodness for plastic ornaments! I was thankful for Mickey's Christmas to keep Whitney entertained while I was hard at work.

Whitney was able to see SANTA for the first time. She didn't cry at all, but was definitely nervous, so was her cousin Avery. Santa gave Whitney one of her favorite treats....candy canes! YUM!

Turkey Day

I've been a little slacker with the blog, but here's a catch up.....
This year we had two Thanksgivings! Thanksgiving Day was at my Mom's and the next day we went to Russ' parents house. It was quite a feast both days! Well in honor of Thanksgiving I'll just say a things I am thankful for. I'm thankful for Mom's that can cook-cause they both cook nebulously. I am thankful for my wonderful husband who works hard and sacrifices so his family can have the things they need. I'm especially grateful that he has made it possible for me to stay home with Whitney and knows how strongly I feel about that. I am thankful for FaMiLy! I'm so happy that both our families get a long well and for the many different personalities that keeps it fun and interesting! I am grateful for my relationship with Russ. Although we have our moments that we want to grab the shoulders and shake 'em hard, maybe even choke them a little....but once calm again, you really see the beauty in the relationship and are so thankful you have it and never want it to end. I am thankful for the gospel in our lives and especially for righteous values and standards that help us to be good people. I truly believe that living the gospel standards brings happiness, because when you make the right choices in life you are blessed, they teach you to be kinder, more loving, serving, forgiving, and especially wise. I am thankful for all the noble and honorable men and women who serve in for the church and for our country. I am thankful for good examples. Last but not least, I am grateful for our little Whitney who has brought so much joy, entertainment, and love into our family. One of my favorite things is to watch the love Russ has towards his daughter and how happy we make him. It's so fun to see her clap and give big hugs and kisses when he comes home, and to get cuddles at night. CHILDREN MAKE LIFE FUN!
